Multi-stage High Efficiency Air Filter

Compressed air straight from a compressor contains three main types of contaminants that the filter must address:
Solid Particles: Dust, dirt, rust, and pipe scale from the ambient air or from inside the air receiver and piping.
Water (Liquid and Vapor): Atmospheric moisture that gets compressed and condenses into liquid water or remains as water vapor.
Oil (Liquid Aerosol and Vapor): Lubricating oil from the compressor itself (in oil-lubricated models) in the form of liquid droplets or vapor.

Air filter is for removing solid particles, oil mist, and liquid water from the compressed air stream, and it can prevent abrasive particles from damaging internal components like bearings, screws.
